EXECUTIVE LEADERSHIP

MATT THOMPSON - CHAIRMAN

With 25 years' experience in executive management in the family office and energy sectors. Including global executive management and commercial operations experience in the E&P sector, with both operators and contractors. This includes experience in the design, commercialisation and strategy development and execution of large scale capital projects both offshore and onshore. This has included working for oil majors and mid caps in the Gulf of Mexico, Brazil, West Africa and the Eastern Mediterranean.

Dr NICK ROBINSON – MANAGING DIRECTOR 

PhD in sedimentology and stratigraphy, Nick has 39 years energy industry experience, including extensive studies on reservoir characterisation, sediment diagenesis and depositional facies analysis. Founder of IEDS, a service company subsequently acquired by IHS. Ran all international data operations for IHS until 2003. 

Nick was also the founder of an Exploration and Production company in Texas, which discovered gas and acquired oil production. Nick was involved with all aspects of exploration, operations and production.

Throughout his career, Nick has also developed long-term working relationships with Governments and NOC's throughout Europe, Asia, Middle East, Latin America,

JOE STEPHENSON - VP DEVELOPMENT

A qualified petroleum engineer, with 35 years energy industry experience in both onshore and offshore project development and operations on a global basis. This includes experience in the design, commercialisation and strategy development and execution of large capital projects. Experience on over twenty offshore developments, implementing shallow and deep water tie-back, SPS and URF solutions incorporated with FPSO construction, commissioning and operations..

Previous experience includes Operations and Development Project Director with Chevron, Texaco and several mid caps with oversight of all aspects of multi-billion dollar field development projects.
